SAHI is pleased to disclose its collaboration with HIMSS in organizing the HIMSS Middle East 09 to be held in Manama, Bahrain in the period 12 - 14 May 2009. In continuation to it's endeavor to activate the scientific knowledge in the field of health informatics, SAHI has signed an agreement with HIMSS as a Supporting Organization of the conference.
In addition, in order to enable members to update their knowledge, SAHI members will be entitled to attend the conference at a discounted rate which will be announced later. 
Health Information Technology Session during the 19th National Computer Conference
The Saudi Computer Society is organizing the 19th National Computer Conference under the theme 'Digital Economy and ICT Industry' in the period of Monday November 3, 2008 - Wednesday November 5, 2008. On Tuesday November 4, 2008 the Chairman of SAHI, Dr. Majid Altuwaijri, will moderate the Health Information Technology session scheduled 8:30 - 9:45.
